The Apartments and Townhomes
at Sam Rodgers Place
Apartments and Townhomes
Sam Rodgers Place includes 62 newly constructed apartments and townhomes to serve the Independence Plaza community within Kansas City's historic Northeast. This community is adjacent to the Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, formed in 1968 by Dr. Rodgers. Dr. Rodgers believed families deserve access to everything they need to thrive. That’s why he chose to open his health center at the Wayne Miner Housing Project, so families got the care they needed right in their neighborhood. The Apartments and
Townhomes at Sam Rodgers Place brings Dr. Rodgers vision full circle building a neighborhood on their flagship campus.

This space will include event space, a kitchen, a business center, and conference rooms. This community space will be linked to the Health Center via a health and wellness-focused community park.
